Treasure Hunting...

Doing it Sanford and Son style...

My find of the day

350 miles traveled on one hour of sleep...not so great
75 degrees, blue skies, and someone to help me load and unload...wonderful!

A Work in Progress

My new friend...I love her.  I am planning on taking the very worn, moth eaten fabric off of her and replacing it.  I have a few different ideas for the fabric...possibly a tapestry, burlap w/ stenciled images, or a muslin or linen w/ printed images...decisions decisions.

Architectural Elements

Sweet little green house that we designed from old windows, spindles, a piece of dentil moulding, and a corbel.
So happy it found a good home!

One of my favorite pieces...Frenchy green dresser

Bought this piece at auction with a few minor surface flaws.  It definitely needed to be re-finished and yes I am one of those that has no problem painting vintage furniture.  I did not want to cover the original floral motif in the center so I decided to leave some of the natural wood exposed to balance the rest of it out.
